Mission and Vision

Mission

Community Food Box Project is dedicated to providing emergency access to food while sparking a deeper conversation about the root causes of food insecurity. By working with communities to design, install, and maintain food boxes, we offer immediate relief. We also recognize that these solutions should not have to exist. Our mission is not only to address hunger but to 1) advocate for systemic policy changes that dismantle food apartheid; 2) empower individuals and communities to reclaim their relationship with food, land, and others; and 3) create equitable food systems for all.

Vision

While CFBP provides immediate relief and raises awareness about food injustice, our long-term vision is to empower individuals to reclaim their relationship with food, land, and each other. By blending artistic expression, education, and advocacy, we seek to build a more just and regenerative food system—one rooted in love, healing, and resilience.
